Privacy Policy

Overview

Brink is currently in early development. This privacy policy explains how we handle information collected through our early access signup form and the runway calculator on this page.

Calculator Data

The runway calculator on this page runs entirely in your browser. Any numbers you enter (cash on hand, monthly expenses, revenue figures) are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We have no access to your calculator inputs.

Information We Collect

We collect only your email address when you sign up for early access. This information is used solely for:

  • Notifying you when Brink is ready for testing
  • Sending occasional updates about development progress
  • Gathering feedback to improve the product

How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used for research and product development purposes only. We will:

  • Send you updates about Brink's development and launch
  • Invite you to participate in user research or beta testing
  • Ask for your feedback on features and functionality

What We Will NOT Do

We respect your privacy and commit to the following:

  • No selling: We will never sell your email address to third parties
  • No sharing: We will not share your information with other companies for marketing purposes
  • No spam: We will only send relevant updates about Brink, no promotions, ads, or unrelated content

Third-Party Services

We use Netlify to host our website and collect email signups. Netlify processes and stores your email address securely. You can review Netlify's privacy policy for more information about their data handling practices.

We use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioural analytics tool provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity records anonymous session data (such as mouse movements, clicks, and scroll patterns) to help us understand how visitors interact with the page and improve the user experience. Clarity does not capture personal information such as your name or email address. You can review Microsoft's privacy statement for more information.

We use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The Pixel collects anonymous data about page visits and interactions (such as whether a visitor used the runway calculator or signed up for early access) and sends it to Meta. This data is used solely for ad performance measurement and is not linked to your name or email address. Meta may use this data in accordance with their own privacy policy, which you can review at facebook.com/privacy/policy. If you wish to opt out of Meta's tracking, you can do so via Meta's ad settings.

Your Rights

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it will remove your email address from our list and permanently delete it from our records.

As Brink develops, this policy may be updated. Significant changes will be communicated via email to all early access subscribers.
